2nd Synagis, weight and annoying people!!

DD had her 2nd synagis injection today...she is weighing in at a healthy 8 lbs 12 oz!!  WOOHOO!  Such a good little eater/grower  

 I have to vent though...people are so annoying.  There was a whole waiting room...and the lady with the coughing child sits in the chair RIGHT NEXT TO ME!!!!  are you KIDDING me?!?!  Why ON EARTH would you sit right next to a tiny baby with your coughing child when there is plenty of room away from me??  I immediately got up and asked to be put in a room to wait and they obliged.....I made her next appointment for her 4 month shots first thing in the AM and will be doing this from now on to avoid sick kids.  UGH!

Can you see if there's an in home program your Lo can be put on for the shot? We qualified for that fortunately, but we still have to go in for regular stuff, had an appointment today and some little girl kept trying to reach in tickle DD in her carseat. I told her not to touch her and said she should probably go back to her mommy and got the nastiest look from the mother. We got called back immediately after that so I didn't have to ask for somewhere else to wait, but I did ask for something to disinfect with and the nurse was more then happy to oblige and actually wiped down the car seat for me while I gave DD a quick clean up.

It's stories like this that make me grateful that our pedi's office has separate waiting rooms for well and sick visits. 

 I wanted to find a pedi with separate waiting rooms but unfortunately I live in a small town and there is only 1 pedi lol the closest with 2 waiting rooms is about 45 minutes away and I just didn't want to start a relationship with one so far away for when the time comes and LO is sick...nice to have the Dr only 10 minutes away.  But today sure made me wish I was going to that other pedi.

I always try to get the first appt but if there is a full waiting room I tell them right away. They always take me back to a room. I even asked if I could wait in the doctors actual office if they were all used. I've never had to but I have no problem asking. Thursday we went for synagis round two and they even let me go out the back door so I didn't have to go back through the waiting room!
