So I take Zofran for morning sickness...I know Unisom can apparently have an anti-nausea effect as well. (and I know Zofran can apparently make you drowsy, but it doesn't do that for me at ALL) My question is, has anyone taken Unisom just to help themselves get some sleep? I have had SUCH a horrible time sleeping for the past 2 weeks. I'm miserable during the day because I am awake, tossing and turning all night. I know Unisom is safe to take but wonder if it's worth trying. I'm desperate for some sleep - I feel so worn down.
Anyone else encounter this problem in early pregnancy - and if so, what was your relief? (I'm going to talk to my Dr about it this week anyway, but just curious to see any ideas here that I can pass by my doc...TIA!)
Re: Zofran and Unisom??
Listed under the insomnia OTC meds were Tylenol PM, Unisom and Benadryl.
Luckily I haven't had problems with either insomnia or m/s, but I hope you find some relief soon.

YES! Unisom is the BEST! I took it a ton in my early pregnancy, my doctor said it would not have any negative effects on baby.
I also used Tylenol PM for awhile but since I was taking it almost every night the doctor suggested I try Unisom because they had done a bunch of testing on it.
