Probably ridiculous question/concern about prenatal

Sooooooo . . . I've been taking the Rainbow Light Complete Prenatal System for over a year now. It is 6 pills a day total (I take three in the morning and then three at night). It has 1,000 mcg of folic acid in the 6 pills.  I know we are supposed to be getting 800 mcg of folic acid a day. My somewhat ridiculous question is whether or not it is okay that I am spreading the 1000 mcg out over 2 doses (they recommend spreading it over two-three doses on the box), taking essentially 500 mcg every 12ish hours? I thought this might be the better way, as it gives my body a chance to absorb more of it, but now I am second guessing myself and concerned I am not getting enough in my system at one time.

Geez.  I'm at new levels of neuroses.

I would say it's fine, I get sick if I take all my pills at once.

It's fine.  If you were relying solely on your diet as a source of folic acid or other vitamins,  you wouldn't eat it all at once either.

I think you're okay.  My OB had me on a Rx for extra folic acid, and she told me I could take it all at the same time.  No need to spread it out.  And today, baby is holding up just fine.
