anyone MADE unpaper towels?

I found various instructions online, but none of them said to prewash/shrink the fabric.  Doesn't it make sense to prewash/preshrink so that you don't get warped unpapertowels?

Re: anyone MADE unpaper towels?

  • We actually just got a stack of kitchen towels from Costco and use those along with a wet bag for our kitchen purposes. We use tupperware to store food and we just eat off plates and bowls to collect crumbs.

  • I actually just hammered out a roll of these. I agree with everyone. Be sure to wash and dry your fabric before using them. I didn't do this the first time and my "paper towels" shrunk to more of a wash cloth size :/

This also helps with snap placement too because everything is shrunk you do't have to worry about it shrinking post snap which can cause bunching around the fabric.
