Gassy after burping

My 2 wk old is gassy after I burp for 15 minutes, she lets out at least 3 burps. DH and I hear gas in her tummy after we burp, so we burp again and there is still gas. Her fee dings are regular and plenty, she exceed her birth weight by 11 oz! Suggestions or tips would be great! I am going to do a bland diet for a few days.

You could cut back on dairy but in all honesty, babies are gassy by nature. Their little systems are still getting used to this outside world and will have gas. If she doesn't seem to upset by it, don't feel the need to alter your diet. It sounds like she is getting her gas out, so don't worry too much
