Valuable lesson learned re: blow outs

We went to bru to return some things. It's 5 minutes away from my house. So.... I grabbed the diaper bag just in case she needed to be changed. But she had already pooped today so I didn't think she would again. I had also not replenished the extra outfit I usually keep in there.

Well all of a sudden on line at bru she starts wailing. So I bend down to do a sniff check & almost pass out. ?My poor baby. So I take her into the mother's room & go to ?change her when I realize that it's not just a "stinky", it's all over her & her clothes.?

She was wearing an outfit & onesie. The onesie got the most of the funk, but my poor baby had to wear poopy pants home. I felt so bad. ?

Heh.  Poor little poopypants.  Does Meredith usually only poo once a day?  Willem is a sh!tmeister.  Most days he lights it up 3 or 4 times.

oh my goodness! I feel ya! I had to learn the hard way too. I always keep 2 extras outfits in the diaper bag! When she was on EBM she would have blowouts that were messy!

Trust me - that won't be the first time it happens! DD's on an antibiotic now for a sinus infection - and apparently diarrhea is a "side effect." We've had numerous blow outs every day since she's been on it.

She usually goes 1-3 times a day. Sometimes more.?

I had to buy an outfit at the mall a few weeks ago because she pooped as I was changing her...all over the place, all over her pants...I had to send DH into Old Navy to get her an outfit.  He of course comes out with an outfit that is too big, saying she'll be able to wear it for a while this way.
