Thanksgiving!

So what are your plans for Thanksgiving this year?

 We are going to my parent's house. My mom's birthday is Friday and on Sunday, both kids are getting baptised (and my cousin with her 9 children will be there!).

Well SO has to work (again) so normally I would be killing myself trying to go to my family, and his. However, this year, screw that. His mom and stepdad, and two sisters decided to just not show up to the baby's birthday party yesterday without calling. I am fed up and I am going to just go to my family's party and enjoy it.

Since it will be LO's birthday, I'll be crying. I cried earlier today, just thinking about it.

We're traveling about 1.5 hours to see the ILs first thing that morning and spend time there until early afternoon. Then, we'll spend the other half of the day at my dad's.Luckily, our families only live about 40 mins apart.

I'm sure we'll be home late Thursday night(DH has to work Friday, so no spending the night). I'm expecting LO to be a hot mess Thursday night & Friday because he'll be so off his schedule.

My sister's boyfriend owns a bar and he keeps it closed during the day on Thanksgiving so we can all have a big get together there.  After the bar we go back to my mom's for dessert and to either play games or watch movies.

We're doing a 10 hour drive to see the inlaws.  I'm glad that the weather's going to be awesome

We are going to my dad's house. We were with FI's family last year since DD came home the day before and we live with them. Next year we will go to my mom's.

We are just having a small Thanksgiving at home.  It will just be DH, DS, and me.

We're going over to a friend's house from DH's station.  We wanted to go see family but it's supposed to storm the next few days after Thanksgiving, and we don't want to chance not being able to get back home.

We had our thanksgiving with Dh's family yesterday. It was a lot of fun and we announced my pregnancy and as expected his parents and siblings were pretty pleased.  On Wednesday after DH gets off work we make the 7-8 hour drive to my parents' house for Thanksgiving with my family.  Thanksgiving is also my mom's birthday this year so I am creating her a birthday gift that also announces the newest grandchild.

I'm off work Wednesday-Sunday! Wednesday I get 1-1 time with my little man. Thursday we'll go to my parents house through Saturday, where we wear yoga pants the whole time, eat, nap, take a walk in the country, and otherwise just be lazy. Sunday we are taking DD to Sesame Street Live. Very excited, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday!

We had one dinner Sunday evening with in laws. We have the other side of DHs family Thursday for lunch and my family Thursday night. Then Friday....shopping!!!!
