Here is our Bible Verse for the week:Philippians 4:6-7 ?Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.?
Here is our Question of the day: What is your favorite Thanksgiving tradition?
Mine is watching the Macy?s Thanksgiving Day parade : )
My favorite TG tradition is putting up the Christmas tree that night and watching It's A Wonderful Life. Cornbread dressing and ham might be close seconds lol
If nobody objects, maybe we can add to the request list a prayer for all of our elected officials to renew the tax credit.

I love that verse! I have it on a ring that I wore for a while until I memorized it. It always helps me calm down and give it all to God.
My favorite Thanksgiving tradition is helping my grandma cook the meal! I go to her house at 5am to put the ham in the oven. This may be my most treasured tradition of any holiday.
I'm so excited to be part of this group!

We're so happy to have you! I love when people join, I get so excited when I get to e-mail people their prayer partners lol.
Our only update is that after some trial and error we finally found a formula that doesn't make R's stomach hurt! We switched a couple weeks ago and it's amazing how much of a difference that made. She started day care today and will be going part time while I ease into this transition.
Our thanksgiving tradition used to be watching a college football game, eating with family, and putting up our tree. Now we will put up the tree and eat with family.

I'm so glad you found the right formula, that can be so tricky! I hope everything goes well during the transition, I'm sure she will love day care. Pretty soon she'll have lots of new friends
