Any mamas on here from or near Bakersfield, CA?

I am new to the area and my DH's new job has Kaiser. I have heard nothing but horror stories about them and I'm hoping someone on here has an OB with them they would recommend?

    I have to be honest and I too have heard horror stories about using Kaiser in Bakersfield. There is a really good homebirth midwife named LaMonica who comes HIGHLY recommended and her prices are very reasonable.
