This straw cup is the only cup my DD will actually drink from. If you squeeze the bottum, the liquid goes up the straw, and it has taught her drink from a straw, as she can now drink from any cup that has a straw.
but she also has the nuk that goes with the bottles (since we have nuk bottles) - but its really hard to get stuff out of that. She will use it though if I give it to her. She has the playtex straw one - but she will suck down that water in 3 min with that! So that one is my last resort only because of that. I like it though because you can squeeze it so they learn that water comes up the straw so you have to suck.
Is that your little guy doing the push up in your siggy? That photo is insane! That's what a Navy Seal looks like as a baby, or maybe Superman. I see a resemblance to Clark Kent.
Your hilarious! Yea that is Joey @ 5-6 months. I am a designer and we relaunched a new diaper package. Needless to say, Joey wasn't interested in being a baby model.
Have you tried a straw cup? We went right to the straw cup at the doctor's recommendation. Playtex makes one that you squeeze at the bottom to give the baby the gist of sipping. Austin now sips his water like a champ!

When he's in his 20s and up for a national award (Heisman Trophy, Medal of Honor), that is the photo you give to the media. It's good that you're prepared.
I was really hoping he would be the next Super Man, but Medal of Honor is a close 2nd.

Haven't tried the straw. That is the one I will pick up today! Hoping they work.
I don't have a good recommendation, because the ones we like here are more for older toddlers ( the First Years brand; it is just a cup and a lid, no other parts to wash or lose)
They have a spout that has to be lined up just perfectly or it leaks, and my older son discovered if he pushes hard enough it will pop down into the cup and spill everywhere.
Ok so I have a questions, what are you guys guys putting in the sippy cups? (water, juice, formula?) and how often are you giving them the sippy cups? (at meals, all the time?)

Re: Recommend your sippy cup.
We have a nuk one that I bought because she loves nuk pacifiers so much. I really like it. It doesn't leak at all and it's easy for her to hold.

Every other cup we have tried just gets banged on the tray.
I went through three different suppy cups before it came down to this one. Reece has mastered the straw sucking skill and he loves it!!
Hayley likes the nuby sippy the best

they are ok. He doesn't understand how to tip it back far enough otherwise they're fine

Ava also has this cup and loves it, she learned to drink from it right away.

But I can tell you that I hate these: https://www.diapers.com/p/munchkin-mighty-grip-trainer-cup-8-oz-2-pk-18150
