Bad plan?

So my neighbor was due on Monday, she went to the dr and had very little progress, so she walked for 7 miles and went into labor 12 hours later.

I thought I'd copy her, now 12 hours later, all I feel is sore.  :(

I'm going to give it another shot tomorrow.  I figure at least I'm getting some exercise. :)

Re: Bad plan?

  • Walking is what did it for me both times, but holy crap, 12 miles????? I could barely manage my piddly 3 mile walk. I'm not sure how 12 is humanly possible at this stage of things.

ETA: Oops, I see that she *only* walked 7 miles. Reading comprehension fail, blamed on hardly any sleep. Still, same difference!

  • SO and I started walking. Cramps, BH, and random pains have definitely intensified. I think things might be progressing!!!!!

  • If you can manage it, it can't hurt. I walked alot when I was pregnant with DS, but this time I'm having really awful pelvic pain and sciatic nerve pain, so I end up just miserable and barely able to move if I walk more than 15 minutes or so a couple times a day. It's not worth it to me to push it harder as there's no guarantee it will do anything to help me go into labor.

  • tried doing a 2 mile walking video last night... didn't really do anything for me except make me fall asleep very quickly...
