What time would you workout with LO?

I am finalizing my purchase of a Stroller Strides franchise this week! I've always been passionate about fitness and am glad to have the opportunity to get into the industry professionally and not sacrifice time with L. For anyone out there who has attended a class or in general, if you were to workout with your LO in the stroller, what time in the morning would work best for you? I know 9:00-10:00am works for us, but I'm curious as to whether that is compatible with schedules for other moms and babies.

Re: What time would you workout with LO?

  • Most classes like that are around 9am (I used to teach for a SS competitor).  On the weekend that's a time that would work for my LO.  Like the PP though, I am always annoyed that virtually all "Mommy and me" type classes are always at 9am on weekdays.  When I taught, weekend classes were pretty popular too.

Obviously, weekday AND weekend classes are the only way to get the working & SAHM groups.  I would look at 9:30 instead of 9.

Well, I work full time so it would have to be 6:00 pm or on the weekends.

This. I hate that around where I live, all mommy & me type stuff is at 9am or during times when a working mother couldn't possibly get to it.  I'm typically a workout at 6am person, but I would do it after work too if it anyone offered something like this. Even 6pm is a little on the tight side... 6:30pm would probably be better. (I'm in NJ btw... I would assume this all really depends on what the demographics are where you're planning to teach).
