what do you do about the furniture?

I have an incredibly stubborn 2-1/2 year old. She wants to wear panties instead of pull-ups, and I'm ready for that too, because I think the pull-ups are just an invitation to not bother with the potty. But she refuses to go potty when I tell her to! We've done stickers, I tried a sticker chart...nothing seems to work.Trying a timer on my phone today...

Anyhow, yesterday she peed on an upholstered chair. Fortunately, the cover is washable, but what about the cushion? I didn't sop up the wet pee on the cushion immediately...big mistake. But I did use some Spot Shot on it last night, and this morning, the corner where she peed is all stiff. What to do? I think I'll take a rag with just water and go over it. Any other suggestions, or products?

I understand what you are going through. We lay towels down on our living room floor and sit on the floor with DS. NO SITTING ON THE FURNITURE until he gets that diapers aren't coming back. ::winks::

    That's what we are doing.

Best of luck whatever you decide!
