Newborn stash question

How many newborn size vs. size small prefolds do you recommend buying?  Do I need a solid 2 dozen of each?  More/less?  Thinking of using the GMD prefolds, if that makes any difference.  Thanks!

    We started off with a dozen of each, then when our LO got here we bought another dozen of the NB size. It really depends on the size of your baby. My LO was in newborn diapers for almost 3 months.
