I've been wondering this for a while now...for all you working moms what time do you wake up and leave for work? I am amazed at how many of you say that 6:00 is early but I am up at 5:00 every morning and out the door at 6:15 with Allison (DH works nights) and start work at 7:30 so that I can get home at a decent time every day.
Also, I'm very much a get-out-of-bed-get-showered-get-moving kind of girl. I don't lay in bed, hit snooze, work out, etc just because I would have to get up at 4:00 to do any of that! I do watch the news while I'm giving Allison her bottle though!
I don't think I will ever have a LO who sleeps past 5:30 - at least as long as DH stays on nights - so when I read that you are getting up "early" at 6:00 I just sort of roll my eyes because I would KILL for a 6:00 wake up time!
Re: What time do you leave for work?
I'm up at 4:30am and we're out the door by 6! I'm at the daycare by 6:30 and start work at 7.

I KNEW IT! I knew I couldn't be alone in waking up at the butt crack of dawn every day!
You have no idea how happy I am you are all out there - sucks that we wake up so early but at least I'm in good company!
I am a very go go go type A personality in the mornings. I shower, pack our lunch, and DD's bag, and iron if I need to at night.
My Ovulation Chart
Holy cow, ladies! I couldn't do it. I am very much a night person, though. I am most productive after J goes to bed at night.
I am up between 6 and 6:15, and we leave around 7:30. My hair is a disaster after being slept on, so I need to wash it every morning.
My mornings usually go like this
If I need to shower:
Wake up at 5:30a. Shower. Pump. Blow dry hair. Wake up baby. Feed her. Get dressed and ready for the day. Leave at 7:15a-7:30a.
If I don't need to shower:
Wake up at 6:00a. Pump. Wake up baby. Feed her. Get dressed and ready for the day. Leave at 7:30a.
For some reason, I'm usually later on the days I don't shower. I think I hit snooze too many times when that's the case. And usually at least once a week, I don't leave the house until at least 8:00a.
We are up between 445 and 5, out the door at 645. I work from 715 to about 530, I go pick up Emily and we are home around 615 if I dont stop anywhere.
On the days that DH is home during the week it is amazing because I sleep in to 6 and I really need those days to recharge.
I do workout at night (not this moment per doctors orders) but DH gets home around 730, we work out from 9-10 after Emily goes to bed.
I get up at 4:45. Yep. I go nurse Hank (he only nurses when sleeping so I take the opportunity to do so instead of pumping), then workout, shower, and then get him ready to go while my DH gets ready for work. I am out the door at 7:25 and make my 5 minute drive to school.
Weekends however, are great because I am blessed that Hank sleeps in until 6:45 or so. 2 hours more is WONDERFUL.

I'm up between 5:15 and 5:20. DH gets DD up at 5:30 and gives her a bottle while I get ready. DD and I are out the door at 6:00, drop her off at 6:20, and I get to work between 7:00 and 7:15.
On the weekends we let her wake up whenever, though the rule is no getting out of the crib before 5:30. Anytime after is fair game. Most of the time she's up by 6:00 but occassionally, not often, we get a 6:30.
up at 4:45, out the door at 7:15, daycare at 7:40, work at 8:00... DH leaves for work at 5:30am so I don't have help from him in the AM
