Well I just put a deposit down. It's sad to say I don't know how I feel! I'm excited but there is that looming thought in my mind that it won't work and if it does it will put me near my 46th birthday 2014!! We all know how I feel about being an "older" mom....lol. Promise...no more whining after this...heehee.

One step at a time...I know. Maybe I could concentrate on eating better!! Oh great...while I'm typing this MH calls and asked if I put the deposit down. I said yes and he said he wanted to put on a o% card that we don't have yet!! I said sorry but I need to get on this waiting list. Sigh...always something. I feel like I am walking on eggshells around him with this...grrrr.

Congratulations! One step at a time.

All I do is add years to my life as well ("if it doesn't work now, then I'll be X+1, but what if that doesn't work then I'm X+2"). Despite sharing that same bad habit: we're a long way from 2014 yet, and there's lots of time for this to work! :-)

I'll be thinking positive thoughts and have my FX for you!

Wow!  So happy for you.

And jealous too.  We have phone consults lined up for Thursday.  Still trying to pick a clinic (our current doctor/clinic is no help at all).  I'll be 43/44 if this all works out.

If you have Netflix watch "The Secret" and "Forks Over Knives" (in that order lol) If you don't have net flix, sign up for their free trial online and then cancel after you see these. Also as for the financial issue (I totally get it!!!) Assure your Husband that you can transfer the balance to the 0% CC as soon as it arrives. Hopefully, this will set his mind at ease.

I wish there was a "like" buttton..lol. You can do this too!! I am sure it is so much more difficult for you with your loss and the IVF cycles. I am going straight to DE (I really don't count my 2 iui's) so I don't know how it feels to go through what you and others have been going through. I don't know if I could be that strong. I'm pulling for you!!

Just watch the transfer to a 0% CC-- they still charge a transaction fee of 3-5%. Sometimes it isn't worth transferring-- you have to do the math to see if it better to leave where it is (ie if it is on a 1.9% card, leave it there).

Congratulations on taking the first step!!! The feelings you are are having are completely normal.  I was sort of in a state of shock after we signed our agency contract and put our deposit down.  There was absolutely nothing surprising about the process it was just the reality sinking in that we are really going to do this.  You are going to be fine!
