RP: First Fever

LO came home from the babysitter with a fever today (100.8). I was in absolute panic mode I called the pediatrician and they told me to bring her right over. He ran labs and said it's just a cold and it has to run it's course. I'm freaked out that her fever is going to go up in the middle of the night. I don't think I'll be doing much sleeping. She's spitting up a lot too which makes me worry. I know it's because she stuffy. Boo. I don't have any idea how she got sick (I'm guessing from the babysitters house). I hate this He said her fever could last 5 days.

Poor thing! When Ds is warm, I usually give him some tylenol before bed.

My LO has had a fever at least 3 times since he started daycare.  The last time it was 103.8!  We went to the ER because it was late at night.  It was a cold virus that turned into bronchitis a couple weeks later.  Luckily, after taking an antibiotic for 5 days he is all better!  We panic when he has a fever too.  Like PP, I usually give Tylenol and wait for it to go down and if it persists after a day, I call the Dr.
