Yay!! The vet called me at 8:30 this morning. His kidney level was at 3.8 yesterday.. it's at 3.5 this morning. He's eating!!! He hasn't eaten in like 4 days!! They took him off of the injectible anti-biotics and put him oral since he's eating. They lowered his fluid iv slightly. He's peeing regularly. His urinalysis did come back with a rare bacteria that they are going to culture.. she said it would be like 2-3 days for that to grow. They're keeping him over night again tonight but said he's wagging his tail and his energy is slightly up from yesterday.
All in all.. good news! She's going to check his kidney levels again in the morning. She really thinks he'll be able to come home on anti-biotics on Saturday. At least until we get all the test results back. We'll be waiting for the labs that were sent to MSU, the culture from his urinalysis, and the malignency panel.
It could come back and say that he has some type of cancer but she said he could also have some kind of weird infection that we can treat so we just need to keep him healthy and wait for the results to come back.
I love my mom. I could never have afforded to give him this kind of care without my mom. I mean I can afford to pay for his meds that we go home with and I can pay for a vet visit and bloodwork but I can't afford 2k.. that's for sure! Seriously how awesome is my mom??!!

My dog got real ill this last summer and was diagnosed with a rare condition, my parents also helped us.. The numbers were in the same range as yours. Luckily we were able to pay them back, but yay for awesome moms/dads huh!
