So who is taking LO out to trick or treat on Halloween? We probably will. Even though she can't have candy yet it would be fun to dress her up and visit neighbors. If its cruddy weather out we would probably just take her across the street, that neighbor bought infant puffs for DD.
Costume wise we bought her a flower costume. It's fuzzy, footed, and mainly green. It has a green hood with pink petals around her face. It's the next size up, so we can have her wear something else underneath.
It'll be interesting to see what the weather does. It's supposted to hit 80 today, but we've already had our first frost the other weekend.
Re: trick or treat / costumes
We definitely will be going trick or treating with DD. Those firsts are huge and we don't want to miss it. Granted she won't remember but we will
We got her a lady bug costume (you can see it on the HDBabyD post
We'll go to the few neighbors that got us some stuff when DD was born and then we'll drive over to my moms (10 min). The weather here is also pretty $hitty right now but hopefully will improve by then.
I looked at the giraffe costumes, too. Super adorable!
They all are when they are so little
Z is dressing up as a shark, DH & I are going to be scuba divers. I am so excited! There is a Raggamuffin Parade in my town, so we will do that, then walk around to the stores downtown and houses to get some candy (why else did I have a kid other than to eat all of his Halloween candy?!!)

Not entirely sure what we will be doing for Halloween, but we did buy DS a costume. He will be a bumblebee.
I LOVE bumblebees! Originally, that is what DD was supposed to be but then I couldn't find it so we went with the lady bug
We received a hand-me-down bumble bee costume, but it was a size 9m. Just for kicks we put it on her. It was so tight she couldn't move. But we snapped a couple photos since she was so cute in her skin tight costume.
This is making me laugh! We had our first frost a couple months ago and right now there is 2 inches of snow on the ground and more snow forcasted every day this week!
We won't be trick or treating yet. There is no point, in our opinion, going before they can really enjoy it so we haven't gone at all yet with our oldest either. We do have costumes for them, but we won't go out. We did consider going out with our oldest this year (one of us would go while the other stayed home with baby) but now that my husband is having knee surgery that day we just aren't going anywhere!

Started our exploration into the world of international adoption June 2012. We have no idea what this is going to look like but we are excited to find out!
We're going out to visit the grandparents and do a few houses near my Mom's. Mainly just for a photo op!
DS is Buzz Lightyear, DH is Woody, and I'm Jessie. My DH is pumped; it was all his idea. It's cute.
We will not go trick or treating. There's not many kids in our neighborhood, so it wouldn't be appropriate to go around with a baby who won't be eating the candy anyway. Maybe I'll let him have a little taste of chocolate that evening or something.
We do, however, have a costume. A friend sent us a bunny outfit while I was pregnant that DS will wear to a Halloween party at the mommy and me group we used to go to. We will, of course, snap pictures. We also have a knight costume complete with a chainmaille diaper cover, but he's going to wear that to the renaissance festival this weekend. If the bunny outfit ends up being too small, he'll be a knight.

Our Halloween week is packed. Maybe because it's Momma's favorite holiday
DD's going to be Little Red Riding Hood, Momma's grandma, and Dadda's the big bad wolf. We're doing a Halloween parade on Monday; going to Dadda's office for the Halloween party on Wednesday, followed by trick-or-treating at the houses nearest us; and topping off the week with a Halloween party for our parent group.
I can't wait!
