Baby Cereal Expires after opening?

So in reading Hayley's Beechnut Oatmeal box today - it says to discard 30 days after opening. I opened it in June. She is still eating it.

She doesn't seem to be sick from it. Is it ok to feed it to her? We had issues getting her started on solids so it sat in a dry place for awhile - and seems just fine. Her rice cereal (gerber) doesn't say this. Do you think it's ok or should I chuck it?

ETA: She's been eating it daily since August

That's a tough one. Here, we just use it until it's gone, and I'm sure we've went over 30 days.

If she's fine, I wouldn't worry about it. If you've been using it since August, there's probably not much left, right?

Yeah we're down to just a little bit left. Prob another week's worth. But still - I hate to waste food. I get disappointed when she leaves 3 bites of food in her dish or throws a puff on the floor half soggy lol!

I've been giving Nat her oatmeal from the same box for over a month. I'm sure it's fine!

Unless the container it comes in is airtight, I don't see the difference in it sitting on the store shelf for a few more weeks versus you opening it. Just make sure there are no bugs and you're good.
