winter boots?

Last year I got DS those robeez booties, which were perfect. But now he's mobile. What shoes or boots are you getting this year? Extra credit for PIP.

I have some Western Chief rain boots that I got at costco, but am clueless as to what else. They will be too cold for most of the winter, and DS truly hates them, lol.

I haven't even thought about boots yet. I'm thinking we'll be able to get away with just sneakers for the most part since winters here aren't too bad (SC), but we should probably have at least one pair of boots just in case.  I'd love to see what other people are getting, too.

I'm holding off on buying them too (we're in Toronto and don't see much snow until December or later usually).  Alexa's feet seem to grow as soon as I buy her new shoes so I'll wait a bit so they'll actually fit. We have rubber sole cowboy boots that seem to do the trick for right now, and tennis shoes. I might get some rainboots because I can not keep the boy out of puddles.

I got some from Carter's when everything was half off and then I had an additional coupon. I also got a hand me down pair from my niece. They are LL Bean and very easy to get on and off and seem very warm, too. 

We rent a ski house for the winter and head up there almost every weekend so even if it doesn't snow much in Mass she will need them for running around at the bottom of the mountain and checking out the ice fishing situation with DH.
