I'm eager to gear up with tons of toys. We don't really have a lot now but DS is 9 weeks and loves his play gym. He doesn't care so much for other toys yet, but we only have some soft blocks and keys and a rattle or two. What are some good toys to look for that will be great for the upcoming weeks?

currently our LO is playing with some of the fuzzy animal blankets (we got 3 of them as gifts), rattles, and his gym.

We use rattles that DS can hold onto. We also prop him up in his boppy pillow and put a couple toys with mirrors on them so he can talk to himself in the mirror. We just got a toy with the same concept as the kick and play piano at a consignment store and he LOVES it! Basically anything that lights up and makes noise works for us!

My guy loves his Whoozit and his Lamaze Moose.  Lots of fun things to feel and shake around and put in his mouth!

E loves the Lamaze moose too. We hang it from the play gym and he loves to look at it and bat it around.

He also likes the Sassy baby photo book. Since he is so young we haven't put pictures in it. He just loves to look at the high contrast pictures on each page.

Sorry I was lurking. Our LO loves rattles that can fit into his hands and anything he can put his mouth on. He likes to chew on fabrics and not so much the hard toys. He loves to hold and shake this red ball we have. It has holes in it and makes little rattle noises too. He likes it cause he could hold it in his hand at a young age. Got it from Target.
