Regular Tights or Maternity Tights (and leggings)

So I need some tights and leggings, but really hate to buy maternity things this close to my due date. Has anyone had luck using regular tights and leggings? I will say that I have a huge belly and can only do full panel stuff lately and truly feel comfortable. Thoughts?

I wore regular tights 2 days last week and they were uncomfortable. I think my kid thought so too and moved from head down to breech...

Splurge on maternity tights.

Regular tights I haven't done, but I have a pair of regular leggings from before I was pg that I still wear. Obviously they have to go under the belly though because they're too small to stretch over it! They're not as comfortable as my maternity ones though. 

If you really only feel comfortable with a full panel I would say to buy a pair of Old Navy maternity leggings. I think they're only like 12 bucks and I'm sure you can get use out of them after baby, since most moms I know have stretched out wearing their maternity pants for a bit after anyway!

I like the non-maternity cable knit type tights because they're soft and stretchy.

This exactly.  I bought some in a slightly bigger size, but was able to wear them in between pregnancies without a problem.  The absolutely need to stay under my bump.

I'm still in my regular leggings, under the bump obvs.  But I had to buy a bigger size of tights, but they're regular non-mat. 

Let me also predict that I think I will be living in leggings this winter while I'm on leave.

I've worn all my same leggings for both pregnancies. I let them sit under my bump and it's fine. I haven't had to wear pantyhose other than one time, and I was only 20 weeks so I managed regular ones. If you only want to wear full panel then just buy maternity.

I have regular tights, but I feel like they fall down and then there's a gap between the tights and myself, and it's annoying. 

FTR: I wore maternity clothes even after LO was born and I could wear my regular clothes. Lol I was thinking about buying another pair of maternity jeans.. But it's just so close to delivery, I'm torn!

I had been wearing my regular [favorite] leggings my whole pregnancy, very comfortably, I might add, until a couple of weeks ago when my SIL's unruly dog jumped on me and ripped a hole in the knee! I tried to find another pair since those were truly faded anyway, but I have had no such luck!

P.S. I had been rolling them under my bump. Impossibly uncomfortable with the half panel(?) maternity jeans, but not a problem for me with those leggings.

Love the old navy tights! Cheap and comfy with a full panel!
