One thing you are thankful for . . .

This week I am thankful for it being Thursday and my school week being done. Not a great thing to be thankful for but this has been a tough week and I am glad it is done. I had a couple days I really did not want to go to school but I cannot miss any more classes.

This week I am thankful that my DH has been so understanding.  I brought up some issues that have been bothering me at our support group, and DH and I had a slightly "heated" exchange.  When we left he gave me a big hug, and I asked if he was mad at me, and he said "mad at you? I love you".

I am really thankful we are still trying to be gentle with each other, and not letting our frustration get in the way.

Also thankful that it's Thursday (one of those somehow it's Thursday, never thought it would get here type of weeks) and that I only have about 6 and a half working days left until we go on vacation and I'm off of work for 2 whole weeks!  When we booked the trip in February the trip seemed like it would never get here and now we're 10 days out!

I am thankful for having people that I can talk to about how I am feeling on this board. I sometimes feel like I am crazy for feeling a certain way and you ladies make me feel better.

I'm thankful that I went salsa dancing last night with my sister. And that my students enroll next week, so things will FINALLY slow down again. I've been going non-stop since I came back to work on the 1st, and while it's been great so that I can keep my mind off things. I want some time to breathe throughout the day as well.

I'm thankful for my DH, he's been so incredible through this all. I feel like this has brought us so much closer. It just makes me love him more because I see it in his face everyday how much he loves our babygirl and how much he misses her.

I am thankful today is half way over...I only have about 18 more hours until DH is home. He is a fire fighter and today was his first day back on shift. He works 24h and has been gone since 445am...

I am thankful that my roof is FINALLY going to get fixed this weekend! It has been leaking since we moved in FOUR years ago! I am tired of tripping over the bucket every time it rains.

I'm thankful that I made it through another visit with my horrendous HMO this week without completely losing it in the waiting room. Hubby helped a lot.

I am thankful for the support I get at my doctors office.  Ever since the loss they take me right in (have been there twice in the last two weeks).  They don't make me sit in the waiting room surrounded by pregnant moms.  The nurses all offer their support and hugs.  One particular nurse didn't leave my side the day I found out Ava was gone.  I was alone and had to wait two hours for dh to arrive.
