Ah thanks.  The boot thing is more tolerable.  Surprisingly, sleeping isn't too hard and when I wake up my pain level is quite manageable.  Grant had his pedi appointment today and the doctor said he is good. CT is tomorrow, but I won't know the results til Thursday!

Now If I can just figure out how to shower... lol.

Glad things were a little more manageable today! Can you not take the boot off at all? I'd take it off long enough to shower. Glad Grant got a good report today.  Hope the CT goes well and they're able to give you some definite answers quick.

I call it a boot, but I don't really know what it is.  It's not a full cast, but a half cast??  I cannot take it off.  They wrapped me in gauze/cotton material then did a layer of hard cast material from the bottom of my foot up to the back of my knee.  Then they wrapped the whole thing in an ace bandage.

I thought I would get it cut off today for the CT scan, but nope.  The scan took 5 minutes which was way shorter than the 20 minutes she told me it would take.  I'm not sure if that is good, bad, or if the lady has no concept of time.

Doctor tells me the results tomorrow...

(and my foot hurts way worse in the evening usually and my foot already hurts bad today so I think this evening is going to be rough)
