Holy Tutu!

After seeing all of the tutu's in birthday pictures.....I am starting to have "tutu regret". I have yet to pick out an outfit for Gator for her birthday party and I was totally anti-tutu......except now I totally want her to wear one. Except her birthday is in two weeks so I am guessing its too late to order one from etsy.

Sad.

  • LOL @ tutu regret!  Can't you make your own?  I've seen things on Pinterest that you can make your own-although I've never really checked it out that closely.

  • They have a bunch on amazon. If you have prime you can get it in 2days, but even with regular shipping you should get it in plenty of time. Also if you see one you like on etsy send the seller a message and see what they can do. I saw a banner I wanted for DSs photo shoot. I needed it in a week. I messaged the seller and she was able to send it out the next day so I would have it in time. I have to agree with you about all of the cute tutu pics. I was anti tutu also, but after seeing all of these adorable pics I will definitely be getting one for my future daughter (if I have one).

why wait for a daughter? I think Wesley could totally pull off a tutu!   ;)

Haha, I agree! Plus the photos would make for awesome bribing material during his teenage years.
  • Make it. E's took me about an hour.

I made one for C's birthday.  Cost me about $15 in supplies and took me a couple of hours while sitting in front of the tv at night.  Easy peasy and so cute.  This is the tutorial I found - https://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/tutu_tutorial

  • I bought DDs tutu from TJ maxx. They have a ton!

  • I love the tutus! As much as I love my boys, I want to put a little girl in a big frilly tutu in the worst way! Mostly likely with a huge bow on her head as well..

  • Honestly they're cute in pictures but I wouldn't make one the actual party outfit. It will just get wrecked. Lo's was made using one of those crochet headbands as the waistband so she'll be able to play dress up with them for awhile. If you're not worried about it being custom you can probably pick one up at a specialty toy store.
  • I ended up remembering I had a black glittery skirt that kind of looked like a tutu from another party 6 months ago and she still fits in it!

Looks so funny with her pajamas on!

  • I bought E's at a local craft fair. Maybe see if there is one in your area?

  • She is beyond cute..OMG look how excited she is in that pic!!!

I am a tutu nut and use any excuse for putting Laney in one. i did a pettiskirt for her pics and had her in a regular dress for her party so she could run around. The Tutu's are super cute but I imagine annoying after a while.

she started pulling on it as soon as I put it on. Since she isn't a full blown walker yet, I cannot do a dress or tutu for the main part of the part because she cannot crawl in them. So I am going to have her wear it during her cake smash with her onesie she has, since I don't care if the skirt gets cake on it.
