I night weaned 3-4 months ago. We're down to 3 brief nursing sessions per day, combined with 'milk' (formula in his case due to allergy). So I don't think he's getting much from me at all at this point.
We want to TTC in the near future and I'm freaking out a bit that my cycles still haven't returned. I had some bleeding about ~50 days ago, but I don't think it was even a 'real' period (probably anovulatory). I am not pg, we haven't had much sex and I have POAS several times.
Did anyone have to wean 100% before your cycles returned to normal? How long after that did it take? I have really long (40 days ish) cycles to begin with and I am starting to worry that TTC #2 is going to take much longer than planned.
Re: Anyone still not have AF back??
No AF here, but I'm still nursing mornings/nights/weekends.
This is my last week with the pump, so we'll see how that affects things.
Baby Girl #2 is on her way!
No AF for me either.
I STOPPED pumping in late August. At 5 months, I dropped to 4 pumping sessions per day, and no nursing. I exclusively pumped until August, and then took that month to officially wean off. I've been done pumping for 6 weeks and nothing. I'm not TTC, but it's frustrating not to have it... because I have to POAS all the time just to be sure.
