Your play mats/gyms, etc. Now that W is active and curious about his surroundings, I want to get him something entertaining.

    We use the Baby Einstein play mat. At first it was a bit too much for him but now he loves it!

    I second the baby Einstein underwater themed mat.  But DS's new favorite is the FP discover n grow kick piano.  He loves watching himself kick the keys in the mirror.  The overhead toys also flip around for tummy time. Having both play mats is a little redundant, but I keep one upstairs and one down.

    Mine is a rainforest mat. I think it is fisher price. She LOVES the music!

    ours is the bright starts jammin' jungle. He is hit or miss with it though.

    My grandpa bought him the Luv-U-Zoo and he wasn't entertained by it. My best friend told me to buy the FP Kick and Play Piano mat, so I did (off of a FB mom to mom group for $20!) and it's the only thing that has entertained him to date.

    kick and play piano gym here too and DD LOVES it.  the kicking is her favorite part.

    We have the infantino fold up mat.  Great neutral colors that aren't too obnoxious, and lots of loops for extra toys.  He always smiles and coos while he is on it.  We also have a Taggies brand mat but he wasn't too entertained on that one and it was kind of awkward to place him in a good spot where he could see everything and reach stuff.

    I got a Baby Einstein play mat on craigslist for $10. He loves it and especially loves the music and lights. I've never seen him laugh so much!
