G has always been aware of the dogs. Until recently, she would only try to pet them (grab their fur) or want to play with their tags. The other day, I caught her feeding the dogs some of her dinner. She now gets EXTREMELY excited when she sees them when she wakes up (or when we get home) and INSISTS on walking over to their crates at night so that she can say goodnight to them. She absolutely loves it when the lick her fingers when she puts them through the grate to say goodnight. Here are some pics from the other night when I caught her in the act.

So cute! Gator has always been obsessed with our dog but yesterday she discovered the dog food bowl and was pulling out kibble and then hand feeding the dog.

You are so lucky she does this. My DD loves to EAT the dog food. She becomes irater when I go and dig it out of her mouth.

DD and one of our cats are best buds. She like to give him "hugs", more like a headlock. He acts like he is being tormented and will give her warning meows, but as soon as we separate the two, he is right back rubbing against her legs. She shrieks every time she sees him. The other cat is still in denial that she exists.

Yup, LBB is a dogfood eater too.  Lately he's being a real PITA with our dog. He either:

1) Lures the dog over with a treat (ie one of his own snacks - this morning it was a piece of apple) so he can "pet" the dog - which usually involves grabbing at our dog while he holds the treat out of reach.  (We're working on gentle touch)

2) Lures the dog over with a treat, gives the dog the treat, and then cries because his treat his gone.
