    Wow. It's frustrating how people just feel so entitled in life and don't care about others...especially in family! I'm glad DH got to straightened her out and that, holy cow, she seems to have changed her views. I hope all works out well. Sorry you had to go through that!

    Are we actually SILs?  This sounds just like the crapp that MIL pulls.  I'm sorry that she's being difficult, but I'm proud of you for standing up to her, and YAY for your DH!
