Re: ~*~*Sunday Ticker Change*~*~
I had my regular OB appointment on Tuesday, and all went well. I'm starting my 2x a week NSTs/BPPs tomorrow, so I have a NST tomorrow and then another NST and the BPP on Thursday (that appointment will also count as my OB appointment for the week). I've actually got all of my appointments scheduled from here on out, so it's a little crazy to think about. I had a lot of BH yesterday and last night, so I've been drinking lots of water and trying to take it easy this weekend. I was thinking I might have to call in/go in to L&D, but they seem to have stopped so hopefully they'll stay gone!
QOTW: I'm in the middle of reading The Night Circus right now. It seems ok so far, but I don't expect it to be one of those books that I just love. It's been a while since I've read something really good, so I'm excited to see what others are loving!

Hi Everyone! I hope this week treated you well. As for me, V-day finally arrived! So relieved, but also know that the only safe time in pregnancy is when I hold that little boy in my arms. Work on Thursday & Friday was killer, so having Saturday off was huge. I think I took 3 naps! Feeling much better today. I was craving a pumpkin donut this morning. I was so frustrated to see that I couldn't get just one donut at the supermarket, so I made the trip to a Dunkin Donuts. Tasted sooooooooo good!!! I have my 24 week appt on Friday, so hopefully all is still well. I think I'm also getting my script for my GTT. I have to get back to cleaning up my kitchen after cooking for tonight's dinner (spaghetti & meatballs, with chocolate cake for dessert). Crock-Pot & oven working today so I can relax.
QOTW: I'm not much of a reader. My favorite book is The Old Man & The Sea (Hemingway).
carolee - best of luck at your appt this week!
I had a good week - plenty busy, but enjoyed all the movement that LO is doing now. That little extra reassurance is really nice. I'm pumped for another u/s on Tuesday, but also a bit nervous to start the BPP that comes along with it - just hoping everything measures and looks ok!
QOTW: I don't read much at all - guess I fill my time with other stuff, sadly. I finally read the first book in the Sookie Stackhouse series lately (I don't watch the TV series so it's not too crucial). I thought it was ok. Still contemplating whether or not I want to read the 50 Shades series....
Everything looked good at my u/s last week. They would not give me a guess on the sex, but it sure looked boy to me. (That's what everyone on in-gender.com said as well).
I'm at the beach this week, so no appointments. I actually don't have another one until Oct.22.
QOTW: I am reading Sail, by James Patterson, and it is excellent. I started it last night and am over halfway finished.
Mother to DD, born sleeping on 9/28/11, and DS, born 3/12/13, 5lbs 13oz, 19in
Not much to report this week...I am 17 weeks today and starting to feel great...No morning sickness this week so that is always welcomed news..
I had my blood work today last week and should have my results back when I got for my big scan in 2 weeks...
Now that the nursery is cleaned out we hope to start painting this week...I wanted to do it friday but my husband didn't think it was a good idea for me to be painting.
Hi ladies! We had our anatomy scan on Friday, and we are having a healthy little boy! All is going well, and it definitely feels real now. We told many more people, and will tell everyone else about baby boy this week.
QOTW: I have had very little time to read for fun lately, which stinks. I love to read, but between grad school and teaching, I don't have time.

Hi everyone!
Carolee- I am so glad to hear that your appointment went well- hopefully the BH will hold off!
Update: We had an appointment and ultrasound this week and it looks like baby is growing! Hopefully this means that we are not headed toward IUGR again. The ultrasound tech did see a "stutter" in baby's heartbeat, but we were told this is likely benign and will continue the twice weekly NSTs and check just to be sure. My BP is high, but holding steady so I am hopeful we can eek out a few more weeks. This week has been hard emotionally because we ended up delivering Lucian and subsequently losing him in the NICU around 30 weeks.
QOTW: I have been reading quite a lot for work (research), but nothing really good for fun. I downloaded a few books to my iPad, but I have had time to get to them yet.
Not much going on here... Just a lot of the same, which is fine by me! No spotting since that one episode, thank God. I am starting to show more... "something" these last few days. I'm sure it's still bloat but it is finally too poochy to ignore, so I bought myself a be band from target, and treated myself to some nice jeans from Nordy's in the next size up. I figure I'll get more mileage out of a bigger size and I can wear them on the other side. Feeling gross about how my body looks, so it was nice to treat myself.
QOTW: unfortunately I never have any time to read these days except on my bus commute, but have been too sick to read on the bus. Theoretically I'm reading the first book in the Game of Thrones series, but I'm only a few pages in. Hopefully the m/s subsides soon so I can read more!

Just keep swimming.
No appointments till the 30th and it seems like forever!!!! I'm trying to relax and get to that date without freaking myself out due to our loss in June. I already feel huge and am changing my clothes 10 times every morning trying to find something to hide my bloat.
Havent read any books lately I feel like I don't have time to do anything lately. I'm working a lot because of the possibility I won't be able to after awhile. But would love some good books in case I were to go on bed rest or get some down time.
