Who still uses theirs?
We got one as a gift for Gator and pushed the belly so many times on that dang thing, it finally went crazy with fast music and then croaked. Which sucked because she loved it, but 8 minutes of playing time was not nearly enough!
SO and I have a bad habit of buying Gator something when she is sick because we feel bad for her. I just found out that they came out with a glow monkey, and although I was never into the monkey fad, I noticed it was bigger so it could be hugged and cuddled. It's only sold at Target so while getting diaper cream at Target today, I decided to grab the dang monkey. I bought the only one they had. It has the soft glow, and not only has music, but plays nature sounds between the songs. The best part: IT PLAYS FOR 20 MINUTES!!!!!!! "WhoopWhoop!!!".......Happy dance......"SOLD!"
Gator has been hugging it, dragging it everywhere, and wiping her current snot nose all over it. She was passed out before the 20min were up....with the seahorse it would stop after 8min and she would cry.
.....sorry seahorse.....good riddance......
I also went to Cotton Babies and bought her a new cute cloth diaper...."because she is sick...."
We have to stop that bad habit before she notices and starts faking illnesses for gifts. Or before she is in school getting sick constantly and we end up broke!
Re: Glow Seahorse Peeps
I don't necessarily buy A a gift when she's sick she hasn't really been sick, so I might. But, I always feel like I need to buy her a little something when I make her run 1000 nonfun errands, or the doctor, or if I've been busy. I probably need to stop too; before she realizes;
Yes! Stop before she expects it. I did this with Oliver, it was a bad decision. Whining and begging kids in a store is awful!
I will have to keep my eye out for monkey though! DS would love that! He is a cuddly little booger.
I know it's not the point of your post, but I am intrigued.... what is this monkey that you speak of? Link or pic please?
