Babies: 9 - 12 Months

EBF -> Milk

Has anyone done the switch to milk yet? I want to start weaning DD down from nursing right around a year, she's 10 months now... I'm okay keeping a before bed feeding for a few more months (hoping to kick that too before LO#2 arrives in June) but as for the day time ones... are those replaced with milk in a sippy (she doesn't take bottles) as a "feeding" say with maybe a snack too, or should it be just the milk? Right now she nurses for between 5 and 10 minutes 3-4 times a day. When she wakes up, around noon, around 4 and again around 8. Any advice would be awesome!

Re: EBF -> Milk

  • I started te weaning process recently, just remember to take it slow and I did not start giving DD WCM until the last week or so. She has only had about 46 oz total combined from all the times I offered it to her. Good luck to you!
