Another 4 month wakeful question

If your LO has gone through this, how long did it last?

I don't know if that's what's going on with my LO or not, but he has slept terribly at night for the last week and a half. Last night he was up at 11:30, 1, 2, 3:30, 4:45, 6, and was up for the day at 7. He used to sleep from 10:30 or 11 until 7 or 8, and would briefly wake up once or twice for his pacifier. He's waking up crying really hard and is very difficult to soothe back to sleep. We also made the crib transition, so that may be making it worse.

So I don't know if it's the 4 month wakefulness happening early or not, but if it is, I'm hoping it passes soon! I'm SO tired!

Re: Another 4 month wakeful question

  • It was really bad when he was about 3 months and a week old. It lasted about 2.5 weeks. He will be 4 mos tomorrow.

  • I'm afraid to jinx it, but I THINK DD may have finally come out of it a few days ago? It lasted for about 2 weeks and she was waking up about every hour and a half or so... Although she's been known to trick us with her sleeping before (where we thought that she was sleeping better and then she reverted right back to poor sleeping a few days later), so I'm not getting too excited yet.
