How old was your LO when they started preschool? When did you have to get them enrolled? I haven't looked into this for preschools yet, but I know daycares in our area have wait lists around 15 months.

My kids started preschool at 3 years old.  Registration starts in January even though the school year starts after Labor Day in September.  So they were 2 when I registered them but turned 3 by the time school actually started.

Both kids started preschool at 3. Registration started in late January.

DD started Mother's Morning out this year, at 2.  Next year, she'll start Pre-school at 3.  Assuming she's completely potty trained by then.  God help us.

DD2 just started a 2s program through our YMCA. It's 2 days/week for 1 1/2 hours. The Y's 3s program is only 2 days/week for 2 hours, so I'd ideally like to do something different next year. I'd prefer a 3-4 day/week program because when she turns 4, she'll be in our district's 4K program, which is 5 half days/week. Anyway, my plan is to look at a couple daycare centers in our area and probably just do a basic google maps search for preschools.

My son just started preschool a few weeks ago,he's 3.5 yrs old.They had enrollment at different preschools in late January,beginning of February,it filled pretty quickly.
