Hey Ladies. Just need to vent to someone who will understnad. We are going to wa wedding this weekend, and our best couple friends who just had a baby a month ago will be there. This is the first time our big group of friends has gotten together since the birth and the plan for Friday night and all day Saturday is to hang out with the baby...literally. That is the plan. My other good friend is 23-ish weeks pregnant and they just became high risk about 2 weeks ago, so I'm sure I'm in for a weekend full of babies and pregnancy talk. To make it even worse, I DO NOT want to go to this wedding (long story with some half-friends). Ready for the icing on the cake?? This is most likely a busted cycle. DH doesn't get home until about 1am and tomorrow is O day. I know it's still possible, but if we get any time alone together, it won't be until very late tomorrow night. UG. I think I'm going to need a few drinks to get through this weekend.

That does sound like a nightmare! Maybe you could come down with food poisoning that day? You still have a shot at O....and getting drunk and humping works for teenagers, so why not give it a try? lol

Ugh. That sounds painful! I vote that you bail for at least part of the day on Saturday with a non-baby/pregnant friendly activity. Brewery tour? Bike around the river/parks (they have that great bike share program)? shopping trip? ((hugs))

And... does the wedding at least have an open bar?
