C-Section incision near belly button?

I had a repeat c-section last Tuesday and once we got into the OR the OB changed her mind about where they would do my incision since I had developed a bit of a rash where I had applied the antiseptic towel the morning of my surgery, plus being plus sized they worried the combo of the two could lead to issues if they went with the normal area and where I had my previous incision. So while I'm on the table they change their mind and do it just below my belly button. My recovery this time has been really hard! Has anyone else had their incision up this high? It's horizontal and runs about 8 inches or so across my stomach. Every time I bend, twist, sit up, etc it pulls and there is pressure. Ugh!

I'm sorry that you're having a harder time this time around;  my incisions are on top of one another so I'm no help with your question but just wanted to say :-(

I'm sorry, that does sound like it would be rougher.  My incision is down below my pubic line.  Hopefully once it's healed it won't feel any different than your first.
