Kids are pretty amazing. I always love to hear their point of view. It's quite brilliant and hilarious. DH just called me to tell me about the convo our vet had with his son. It cracked me up so I thought why not share it

"Dad, you are gonna die some day"

Yes, I know

"No really, you ARE gonna die some day. But it's ok, Jesus will come get you at some point. But until then you can just lay there and eat dirt and bugs. And you won't get in trouble or get blamed for it like I do at school"

ok i got one. the other day i was at my friend's house. she has a 4 year old, a 20 month old and a 1 month old.

 the 20 month old was ripping pages out of a book and the 4 year old says very matter of factly:

Over here we have a ripping baby, and over here we have a sleeping baby (pointing to the 1 month old)

When my son was about 18 months, we went to a farm to take a tour and they had a whole bunch of chickens there. I point to the chickens and say "Look, Pablo. Those are chickens." And his face lights up and he looks at me and goes "MMmmmmmm" and pats his tummy! Haha!

My DH is a big teaser and he told our friend's dd who was 5 at the time that he could smell loose teeth and liked to pull them. She was terrified to pull her loose tooth so one night when we were over for dinner my husband grabbed her by the hand, started sniffing her and told her he thought he smelt loose tooth. She started squirming and laughing uncontrollably and told him no that she was just sweating. Lol it was so funny!
