This was my first thought. Although it is pronounced differently than the polish Jadzia. I wonder which it is...

If it is Polish it's pronounced YAH-jah. Pretty, but I wouldn't want my child to be correcting everyone's pronunciation the rest of their life.

No matter how it's pronounced (which I have no clue after looking through all the ways), it's just bad! Especially in America where it will always be first pronounced as Jad-zee-ah I'm betting. What is so wrong with a "normal" name anymore?!

Its Polish. I grew up around a lot of Polish people and have known a lot of Jadwigas Yadwegah and their NN was Jadzia yagja
