I am 36 weeks tomorrow

I have been having 4 or 5 BM's a day since Sat, a little loose and lots of tightening and cramps (sporadically). I know it could be a labor sign and just curious if it was for anyone else and how soon you went into labor after it started. I was hoping to go at least 38 weeks (had a pt labor scare at 30 weeks, so 38 weeks would be awesome!). I have my appt tomorrow and will mention it to my OB, but just curious of your experiences.

Well... I'm 37.5 weeks (ish) and I had this for 4 - 5 days and then it stopped - I think it may have been braxton hicks and the baby moving down... so.......

It sounds just like me! I've been running to the bathroom a ton since Saturday, but I can't say I've had a lot of cramping. My guess is labor could still be a long way off...but for sure bring it up tomorrow.

This happened the last 5-6 weeks during my last pregnancy.  My guess is that it has to do with the positioning of baby.

Exactly this. With my first pregnancy, it happened the whole last week before my water broke. Sometimes it can mean labor is close, sometimes it can be just a fluke.

I've had the same issue for the past few weeks as well as nausea and even throwing up - I would just chalk it up to changing hormones, added pressure on your GI system, etc.

I have been having more BM too the last couple days. I just go more times a day usually 2-3. Also it has been getting easier to go so I am not complaining.
