During our hunt for the right formula we acquired a bunch of almost full cans of formula. I just can't bring myself to throw them away if there is something to do with them. Will any place take them? Thanks.
i know that at my store (Target) we immediately throw away any formula that has been returned, open or not, so your best bet would be to ask around locally or the craigslist thing...

I can't imagine anyone would take an open can of formula. It sucks, but that is too many risks. People sell formula on craigslist, but only sealed containers.

I thought open cans of formula were only good for 48 hrs ? I could be wrong....
WHAT thats crazy. then why would they make the cans so big?
They are good for a month.
I'm assuming she's talking about powder...that's good for a month.
Personally, I wouldn't take open formula unless it was from someone I knew and trusted...my boss's wife and I swap stuff like that back and forth as our babies try (and occasionally reject) products.
