Really dad?! Vent...

Went over to my parents house for dinner tonight and I packed some vegan mac n' cheese with rice noodles for DD to eat. My dad was making himself a sandwich next to where I was getting her plate ready on the counter. He says, "I gotta try this and see if its any good" and dips his mayonnaise-covered spoon into the container! I was so pissed! He apologized over and over, but I had to throw most of it away to make sure it wasn't where his spoon touched. I almost want to make him buy me a package of daiya cheese-that stuff isn't cheap and I use a whole bag for my recipe. Anyway, no real point to this story other than frustration. Thanks for listening

That d cheese is almost 7 bucks. UHM, Hell yeah he needs to reimburse you for that batch of vegan mac and cheese. You are good, because I would have dumped the whole thing. My son's allergy to eggs is extremely severe.

It never ceases to amaze me. My fil who's awesome in all other ways gave my dd a pretzel and offered ice cream all within a couple days of each other. She's allergic to dairy and wheat. Wake up buddy!

DH took DS (who has celiac) to the IL's once.  they made breakfast.  His dad had JUST buttered his toast.  DH happens to ask for a knife, not paying super close attention.

FIL hands him a knife>  Dh asks "is this the one you just used?".

No.

DH cuts DS's omlet, then happens to look more closely and see's bread crumbs!!!!!!

His dad wa slike  "oh, yeah.  I forgot".

REALLY!?!?!?!?!?!  And you wonder why we don't use you to babysit....

That's horrible!!!! 

The good news is he probably feels so ashamed that he'll never come close to doing it again!

I'd totally have him pay for another pack of cheese.

My mil gave Dd an egg roll last time she babysat. Dh had dropped her off with appropriate foods which I guess she refused per mil. Thankfully dd only ate about 3 bites of the egg roll minutes before I arrived. I freaked out gave her Benadryl and she was ok. Mil tried telling me it was an egg free egg roll. I told her she can't babysit at her house anymore.... We are an egg free household so she can't screw up
