Hi everyone,
Brand new here, not pregnant (yet) but looking into OBGYN practices in my area. Fairly certain I would like to stick with Newton-Wellesley affiliation just because I know what rush hour traffic into Boston can be like first hand. (though open to other suggestions). The Newton- Wellesley OBGYN practice that has an office in Walpole and Newton (at the hospital) caught my eye for location reasons. Any thoughts/experiences? Thanks!!
Re: Newton-Wellesley OB/GYN - Walpole
I go to that practice (I go to the NWH office) and Dr. Dolinger is my OB. I like her good enough, she takes time to answer my (long) list of questions every visit. But like PP said, she kind of expects the patients to be moderately informed about pregnancy, so if you don't have Qs, the visits are super short (like <5mins). My appts are mostly on time though I usually take the first or second appt of the day. Reception & Nsg staff are nice as well.
We took the childbirth class a few weeks ago (via the office, not the hospital) and it was very well done. We also toured the maternity unit and it's a v nice set-up.
In that particular office, I think Dr. Konig is the fav among pts. I originally wanted Dr. Attanucci to be my OB but she was going on maternity leave soon then (she now had her baby), so I ended up picking Dr. Dolinger.

I also go to this practice and have Dr. Dolinger, and I like her. When I had some complications and had to spend some time at Brigham and Women, she called to make sure everything was okay. I've met most of the docs in the practice and they're great. I love Dr. Angel, but she wasn't accepting new patients at the time.
Also, not all of the docs in that practice go to Walpole. Dr. Dolinger is there once a week, and Dr. Davis is there a lot. A couple others are too, but not everyone.
