Dear sharp period like cramps...

that are coming now the day before my EDD. Be labor or go away. You're making me crazy overanalyzing. Anyone else nitpicking their body like crazy? I know that they are probably nothing but they are sharp enough for me to take notice so I can't ignore them and I'm annoyed at myself for getting my hopes up [most likely anyways].

Yes!  It's annoying and driving me crazy.  I don't think I had these last time or I had no idea what contractions felt like, so I ignored them.  Now the random contractions are causing me to overanalyze.  Ugh.

Yes, I've had these in the past few days, but then they always abate. This is what contractions felt like with DS, only I had really bad back labor too.

Yep totally annoying! And I start to over analyze and plan for hospital and DS arrangements then everything fizzles out ugh!

I cannot stop over analyzing. For example, right now, I have excruciating back pain. It could mean I'm going into labor, but I probably just overdid it when I chose not to lay in bed and watch Netflix all day.

I've had all day cramps and pains.  They are not consistent and don't appear to be real labor but still hurt.  I'm like either become real or GO AWAY!  Ergghh.  Yeah this late in the game it's hard not to analyze everything.

I'm overanalyzing everything too.  Yesterday I had this feeling like a ballon popped inside me. It happened twice and then I got super uncomfortable.  Of course I thought it was my water breaking even though I had no leakage. I tossed and turned all night panicked that labor was starting. 

I'll be prepared to meet baby on or after her due date so going early is not in my plans.  You know, because I'm able to control her arrival and all.

Count me in on the overanalyzing.  Between the backache, the 8 million trips to the bathroom to clear out my intestines, and the stabbing hip pains I get when LO hits a nerve, I'm second-guessing everything my body is doing.

DH has been checking in via text like every half hour.  It was cute until about 11:30am. One of these times, I want to tell him that he's too late and I had the baby on our couch about 5 min ago, but I don't have the balls to do that to him.  I think he's on edge this week since we're so close!

It really is like the 2ww all over again--I'm tuned in and overanalyzing EVERY possible pain, twist or tweak going on in my ute!

I have been overanalyzing, too - at least you are actually close to your EDD. I could be in for a very long few weeks at this rate.

Same thing happened to me last night. H kind of cuddled up next to me and I had a sudden little pain and sensation like a balloon popping, followed by absolutely nothing. Very strange.

Yep same here.  I've been having cramps for the past 4 days.  Last night I had a really bad one that started in my back and I actually got excited to be in that much pain.  Then I farted and it went away. 

I've been running errands with my mom all day.  I got home and felt a trickle of water in my pants and thought my water broke, but it was just sweat.  I feel so charming today.

That was me last night. I couldn't go back to sleep b/c I started to panic that I am not ready for the baby to come. I just hoped & prayed the pain would be gone by morning & it was. Now I am dreading tonight!!!

Yes, and it's impossible at this point for me to tell if the baby is just sitting weirdly on my cervix and causing it to cramp, or if I am having something like a contraction. I can't even tell. I guess all that matters it that it goes away and doesn't start again, which is what's been going on....
