Hi Everyone! (Intro)

Hello Adoption Board! I am hoping to make this my new home (if you will all have me) as DH and I are just starting our adoption journey. I have been lurking for a few weeks so I recognize a few stories already, but here is a bit about me:

DH and I are both 24 and have been married for 3 years (TOMORROW!) We started TTC right before our wedding in June when we closed on our first house. After a little more then a year with no luck, I sought help from an RE and was told I have PCOS. We started doing treatments right away, and I did wind up pregnant twice, but once was ectopic and I also had an early m/c at almost 6 weeks. After almost 18 months with my RE I hit my lifetime max for fertility treatments. I decided to switch jobs at that point, and DH and I decided to cash out our 401k accounts and go the adoption route, rather then pursuing IVF or being child free. And so HERE WE ARE!

So far we have settled on an agency (Bethany) and have turned in all our initial paperwork and the paperwork to get our SAFE homestudy started. We are waiting on our references to hand everything in and then I am HOPING sometime this week we can get our first at-home visits scheduled. I hope to be a good addition to this board, I already know you girls are a wealth of knowlege and I can't wait to get to know you more!
