I have a really picky eater and sometimes it seems like he really isn't eating enough. I brought it up at his 1 year appointment and the doc didn't seem too concerned yet because it had only been a couple of weeks. Now that it has been continuing, I am really worried about nutrition for him. I am going to call tomorrow and ask the doc, but have you guys used Pediasure or heard anything about it good or bad? Thanks!
Re: Pediasure?
We had major issues getting DD to eat and she did occupational therapy for texture issues. She lost weight from 18 month to 2 years and was on a milk strike too. We started her on Pedisure and she LOVED it!
My DH and I call it "miracle grow" because it is very nutritious and now she s 50% for height and weight.
I have drank some and never got a chemical taste. It is pretty sweet tho.... Carnation is cheaper but our Ped and occupational therapist suggested Pedisure and not carnation.
If DS doesn't eat well sometimes I spilt it between them and do 50/50 with whiole milk and I find the best price on amazon. $39 for 24 pack.
