Health & Exercise

Re: (Untitled)

  • I didn't wait, but wasn't advised to either.  I had a smooth, natural delivery and felt great physically right after so my midwife told me to just listen to my body.

Because it was winter when I delivered, I did most of my exercise at home.  I put her in the carrier and did lunges, squats, etc., layed her on her back on the floor next to me while I did push ups and situps.  It wasn't nearly as strenuous as my pre-mommy days, but it felt great to get some exercise in.

  • I waited (but I did feel pretty sore for the 6 wks since I had a c section). I wasn't good about exercising my first pregnancy, but I have been really good this time around.

Even though I'll likely end up having another c, I really hope to be back to running before the 6 week appt. I'll have to wait & see though!

  • I didn't. I went to the gym around 2 weeks PP.  Granted, I took it real easy.  Just walking and light weights.
