If you have a waffle iron you really like please share! Now that I'm starting to send Ty to DC with more table foods I need to get in a better habit of making nutritious breakfasts for the family, and I thought I could send him with a waffle most mornings, some fruit and yogurt (Maybe he'll eat it, maybe he won't - he's never been a fan!)
Anyway, DH LOVES waffles, and when I went to make some yesterday morning our waffle iron is kaput! Not surprisingly as it's horrible and I've always hated it.
However, now I need a new one! Our kitchen storage space is limited, but if I have to move things around for a bigger one I will. Suggestions?!
TIA!
Re: NBR: Waffle Iron
My parents got us this one from Williams-Sonoma as a housewarming gift. It's pricey but very good quality, and it makes great waffles! It's easy to wipe clean, you can even lock it closed on the sides and store it upright so it doesn't take up much room.

We have this one https://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/landingpages/foodnetwork_new/electrics/PRD~488102/Food+Network+Signature+Series+Belgian+Waffle+Maker.jsp
I have standing up beside my toaster oven blends in and is out of the way. We love it.
Cool, thanks! I'm actually leaning that way anyway because the waffles are prettier, but your reasoning sounds better to tell DH when he asks why I get a Belgium one verses the standard kind he's used to. He doesn't realize that just because we used to have x doesn't mean we can't try y (or that because he mom got by without x, so can I!)
we have the waring pro Belgium waffle maker (we have the double one because we make so many!) I got it from bed bath and beyond with a 20$ coupon and we've had it 6 years I think, and it's going strong.
