7 weeks - did I just get my period?!?!

This is my 3rd baby - I never got my period while BFing w/ my other children (5 & 2 1/2.  So I assumed I wouldn't get it w/ this baby.

Well yestrday I noticed a lot of dark blood.  Today same thing but lighter in flow and not in color - still dark.  

Is this my period?

If not and it's still my post pardum bleeding - then I just stopped about 3 weeks ago w/ light bleeding now and then for the last 3 weeks - nothing this heavy.

It might be PP bleeding.  I thought I had gotten my period back with DS1 because my PP bleeding stopped and then restarted about 2-3 weeks later (when I was 8 weeks PP).  It was dark for 2-3 days but not heavy.  

WIth DS2 I had spotting on and off for almost 3 months.

If you're EBF, I doubt it. Several of my friends told me that they had moderate to heavy PP bleeding again around 6-8 weeks. It didn't happen to me, but they warned me just in case.
