Just posted the whole story on another thread about induction and med free birth. So, long story short: I was induced, it took 2.5 days (cytotec, cervidil, water broken, and then Pitocin) but I delivered without epidurals or other painkillers. It can be done!
Advocate for the ability to get up, move around, use the shower/tube, etc. Insist on a rolling IV pole and, if they have them, wireless monitors.
